"When Music Meets Tennis."

On screen:

Professional tennis player, Andy Roddick, walks toward a tennis stadium with country music singer, Brett Eldredge.

Andy:

You're Brett Eldridge, country music superstar, coming to play US Tennis Open.

Brett:

That's the beautiful thing about music, it takes you a lot of places. So here I am hanging with you - it's pretty wild.

On screen:

At the outdoor tennis court, with some spectators in stadium seats, Andy gives Brett some quick pointers:

Andy:

You hit it over the fence, be sure to touch all the bases.

On screen:

Andy starts serving tennis balls. Brett swings at, but misses, the first one.

Brett:

I almost had that.

On screen:

The second ball bounces up, off his racquet, and into the stands.

Brett:

I touched it…

On screen:

Andy serves another ball. Brett swings his racquet and misses that one too!

Brett:

Oh uh oh!

On screen:

After the "match, " Andy walks over and clasps Brett's hand in a friendly grip.

Andy:

Brett, thanks for being a good sport.

Brett:

That was amazing! Okay.

Andy:

I appreciate that.

Brett:

Check this out. You take a racquet, you turn it upside down, it looks like a guitar.

Andy:

Yeah.

On screen:

Suddenly the two men are in front of the stands with real guitars in their hands.

Note:

Brett sings.

Brett:

You start singing something like. ♫When I wake up in the middle of the night, you holding me so tight. Good glory me, my oh my. Sure feels good to love someone. ♫

On screen:

Andy squints and shows his teeth.

Andy:

If my face is uglier does that make me play better?

Brett:

Yeah, just give it a guitar face.

On screen:

Andy purses his lips, closes his eyes and strums. Brett turns toward the spectators.

Brett:

Y'all, give it up!

Crowd:

YAAAAAAY!

On screen:

Happily accepting the applause, Andy lifts his finger.

Andy:

You’re welcome.

On screen:

Andy and Brett speak to each other by the tennis net.

Andy:

Same time same place next year?

Brett:

As long as you'll get on stage and jam with me.

Andy:

You got it.
